Frequently asked
Common questions
Why can't PodFinder find my AirPods?
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone and your AirPods have enough battery. PodFinder can only detect devices that are powered on and within Bluetooth range (roughly 10–30 meters in open space).
Why does the app ask for location permission?
Apple requires location permission for any app that uses Bluetooth scanning. We only use this permission to detect nearby Bluetooth devices — we never access, record, or store your physical location.
How accurate is the signal radar?
The radar reflects Bluetooth signal strength (RSSI), which can be affected by walls, obstacles, and interference from other devices. Move slowly and watch the signal increase as you get closer.
Can I find any Bluetooth device — not just AirPods?
Yes. PodFinder works with any Bluetooth device that is powered on and broadcasting a signal: headphones, speakers, keyboards, fitness trackers, and more.
How do I cancel my free trial or subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → find PodFinder → tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends to avoid being charged.
The app crashes or won't open. What should I do?
Try force-quitting the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, delete and reinstall PodFinder from the App Store. Make sure your iOS is up to date. If nothing works, contact us below.
